Isabel was conceived by her mother in Melbourne Australia. Her dad is Australian and her mother Swiss. Her family lived in Switzerland, Melbourne Jabiru (a small mining community within the Northern Territory), Cairns Australia and in Jabiru, Switzerland. With her sister Nina, she went to schools in which First Nations and other children of different cultures were included. Isabel currently lives within Byron Bay NSW Australia. Isabel started acting at the age of 12. Later, Isabel studied drama in Queensland University of Technology's Victoria College of Arts. Before 2002, she never auditioned. She attempted to audition in the role of Home and Away in 1988. Although they didn't feel she was a suitable role for her, producers were still impressed with her and decided to assign Tasha an additional role. The first time she appeared on TV, her role lasted three years and she was awarded a Logie Award in the category of new popular artist. Isabel moved to Los Angeles, California in 2008. In the film Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen the year 2009 marked her debut major part. The following year she was a part of numerous US as well as Australian films and has won numerous prizes. Isabel was recently as a character in Bosh & Rockit Ocean Boy The film is quickly becoming an Australian classic. She also acted in the upcoming action thriller Lunacy. Isabel also recently wrapped Sons of Summer and is working on the character as Marie Curie in Radiant with award-winning writerdirector Annika Glac. Isabel supports animal rights, and she has worked in numerous environmental groups. For the last 10 years she's been the ambassador for the Melbourne Human Rights and Arts Film Festival. Isabel is well-known by her environmental-friendly ethical inclinations and her dedication towards social justice. She became a brand ambassador of many campaigns for cosmetics and fashion.
